Nadia sighed and rolled out of bed, awkwardly trying to slip out without waking her husband. This wasn’t the first time the baby had woken her up in the wee hours of the morning, but this particular kick had been rather painful, and as she was already having trouble sleeping the larger she and baby grew, there was no way she was getting back to sleep tonight. She should have known better than to think she would be graced with a graceful pregnancy; Larien in particular had made it look deceptively easy.
